Sono state annunciate le candidature dei film in gara per la 67° edizione dei David di Donatello 2022, il più importante riconoscimento del cinema italiano.
Dopo una notte degli Oscar che ha fatto decisamente scalpore (e non solo per i premi assegnati), torna anche quest’anno il più prestigioso premio cinematografico italiano. I David di Donatello, arrivati ormai alla loro sessantasettesima edizione, promettono di essere una delle premiazioni più belle degli ultimi anni. Dopo un 2021 particolarmente denso di uscite degne di nota, era facile aspettarsi che le nomination di quest’anno sarebbero state sopra la media. Se lo straripare di candidature per È stata la mano di Dio era in un certo senso scontato, fa piacere vedere che l’industria ha invece riconosciuto il valore di Freaks Out, film decisamente “fuori dagli schemi” per il nostro Paese. Altra piacevole sorpresa riguarda la categoria Miglior attrice protagonista che, esclusa Miriam Leone, abbonda di esordienti e semi-esordienti.
Dalla lista delle nomination è stato escluso il miglior cortometraggio 2022, che in realtà è già stato assegnato in sede separata al corto Maestrale di Nico Bonomolo. Quest’anno, dopo due anni di assenza a causa della pandemia, la cerimonia della consegna delle statuette sarà in presenza e si svolgerà negli studi di Cinecittà: a condurre le premiazioni ci sarà un duo toscano d’eccezione, composto da Carlo Conti e Drusilla Foer. L’intero evento sarà trasmesso in diretta su Rai 1.
